| CHILD AND SLAVE LABOUR | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| WORKING CONDITIONS INCREASINGLY BAD | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Unfortunately, our society today has become a society that disposes whatever it can. Anything we can get done cheaply and quickly is used. This means that young children in third world countries with no education are going to be exploited and used for their ability to work. Large companies pay young children and unskilled workers extremely small amounts of money to work in deplorable conditions. It is impossible to express the way that these young children are being treat with words. The only real way to understand how they are being treat is to visit the sweat shops where they are being dehumanized. The clothing that most North Americans are clad in is probably made by the workers of a sweat shop. You pay in money while the young slaves pay with their humanity and dignity to produce your sneakers or your new shirt with a designer logo. The amount of child labour around the world is increasing and it seems that only a minute amount of people care to address this issue. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
